You should possess a deep enthusiasm for continual learning and personal growth, with the ability to deliver exceptional work under tight deadlines. Efficient task management and a collaborative approach are key to excelling in this internship. Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, especially in creating Pivot Tables, is crucial, and familiarity with PowerBI is a considerable plus. Have the ability to derive insights and trends from both internal and external data is also important.
  • Ideally will have recently graduated, taken a career gap year, or a final-year student majoring in Business, Marketing, Food Science, Engineering, or similar disciplines. An authentic interest in the consumer goods sector, especially chocolates or confectionery, will be beneficial. We are searching for individuals who shine in leadership, teamwork, and analytical thinking, and who stand out with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities

  • As Sales Intern - Out of Home as Ferrero working in the Out-of-Home (OOH)/Foodservice division, you'll play a vital role in assisting the UK Foodservice team across a broad range of functions. Your duties will encompass the daily management of Foodservice websites, including overseeing the functionality, handling orders, and monitoring stock levels, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Be responsibilities extend into the realm of sales analysis, where you will delve into detailed evaluations of sales data from key customers. This task involves tracking average sales, assessing pricing across various outlet types, and estimating the distribution and number of stockists in the market. To achieve this, you will utilise comprehensive reports from key customers, which detail sales to outlets by type, the number of purchasers, and the quantities of products purchased.
  • Additionally, you will provide support for trade show execution, aiding in the organization and successful showcasing of Ferrero products within the Foodservice sector. Another significant aspect of your internship involves assisting both the account team and third-party field teams. Accompanying them will not only build your knowledge of the channel but also help translate this knowledge into insightful and compelling sales stories.
  • You will also assist the Foodservice Operations and Trade Marketing Manager with the day-to-day management of the Foodservice website. Tracking the sales performance of Foodservice products through key wholesaler partners against Ferrero's internal KPIs will be among your responsibilities. Furthermore, your participation in weekly and monthly team meetings will be crucial, providing support and contributing to the overall success of Ferrero's Foodservice operations. This comprehensive internship experience will immerse you deeply in the Foodservice channel, allowing you to make meaningful contributions to Ferrero's goals in this sector.
