Requirements

  • Must be a current student in the United States pursuing a Bachelor’s degree. Desired degrees are in marketing, business information systems, or computer science
  • Must be willing to relocate to Seattle for both internship and subsequent fulltime role upon graduation.
  • Approaching their Junior year (if pursuing a Bachelors) or beyond at the time of the internship (ie. one summer left before graduation). Exceptional Sophomore or Freshmen may be considered.
  • Available for a 12 week internship between May and September of 2024. We are unable to accommodate internships outside of this time frame.
  • Curiosity in or understanding of how search engines work and how they rank web pages.
  • Interest in digital marketing and market research.
  • Interest in or understanding of how the Internet works.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and SEO principles and strategies a plus.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and then apply SEO best practices to help F5’s content appear and rank highly in search engines
  • Conduct keyword research for blogs, glossaries, solutions, use cases, product pages, etc.
  • Review web page content and recommend optimizations based on SEO best-practices
  • Conduct competitive analysis and content gap research aligned to F5’s go-to-market priorities
  • Build and/or augment a content calendar for our solutions and product marketing teams based on the best times to publish content
