  • Are you a match? We are looking for a Social Media Specialist intern who can:  
  • Has good communication skills and is eager to share an outsider's perspective  
  • Enjoys writing, speaking, and presenting in front of an audience.  
  • Is social media savvy on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc., but understands the distinction of producing social media content for a corporation or brand as opposed to personal platform.  
  • Develops social media strategies, schedule postings, conducts trend analysis and incorporates paid posting strategies.
  • Proficient in Power Point, Excel, Word, SharePoint, Sprinklr or any other social media aggregators.
  • Is currently studying a degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or Public Policy.
  • Basic Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Graduation date between December 2025 and May 2026  
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or university  
  • Authorized to work in the United States of America and will not require visa sponsorship now or in the future
  • Strong interest in the technology, telecommunications, cable, and media industries  
  • Ability to work independently and in group settings  
  • Ability to report to assigned office post-graduation if offered and accepted a fulltime position  
  • Must reside or attend school near the host office 

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and tactical support for all of Comcast Pacific Northwest Region social media platforms.
  • Work directly with the external communications team to plan, organize and execute social media campaigns.
  • Under the direction of the Public Relations Manager, work to identify, target and attract relevant audiences and tell the Comcast brand story via the region’s social media channels.
  • Conduct competitor analysis
  • Provide key insights on social media trends, content creation and overall approaches that will help build engagement, followers and viewers to Comcast Texas’ platforms.
  • Traditional and social media research, monitoring and reporting.
