The ideal candidate for the Software Engineer Intern position at Alloyed should have a strong technical background with a degree in science, engineering, mathematics or computer science, good practical experience of test-driven development, a strong interest in model development and validation, good knowledge of at least one object-oriented language, and proficiency in the use of C#, C++ or Python, ASP.NET Core, WPF, machine learning, version control, and continuous integration and deployment. They should also be highly effective communicators, natural problem-solvers, organized, self-motivated, and encourage innovation through collaboration.

The candidate will design, develop, and maintain software platforms for data management, optimization of additive manufacturing processes, and material composition design. They will work in a fast-paced, agile team with metallurgists and engineers, solving complex problems with innovative solutions.
