What is the duration of the internship?
The internship lasts for 12 weeks in the Summer for U.S. interns and 16 weeks for co-ops in Canada.
Are there any specific educational requirements for this internship?
Yes, candidates should be pursuing a B.S. or MS in Computer Science or a related field, with an expected graduation date of December 2025 or May/June 2026.
What programming languages should I be familiar with?
Candidates should have the ability to program in at least one object-oriented programming language, such as Java, C#, GO, Node.js, C++, or Python, as well as a basic understanding of JavaScript.
Is prior internship experience preferred?
Yes, having past summer internship experience is considered a strong plus.
What kind of projects will interns work on?
Interns will work on meaningful projects related to developing tools for integrating and building Okta's enterprise applications and business solutions.
Will I have a mentor during the internship?
Yes, each intern will be assigned a mentor and will work closely with engineering management to scope and plan engineering efforts.
Is there an opportunity for full-time employment after the internship?
Yes, interns have the opportunity to explore potential full-time positions at Okta after their internship.
What support systems will be available to interns?
Interns will receive support from their mentor and manager, participate in a variety of community-building events, and engage in learning opportunities such as the Executive Speaker Series and Brown Bags.
