What academic qualifications are required for this position?
We are looking for current Ph.D. or M.S. students in Computer, Electrical, Materials Engineering, or equivalent disciplines. Exceptional B.S. students may also be considered.
What operating systems should I be proficient in for this role?
Proficiency with both Linux and Windows operating systems is required.
What will my primary responsibilities be as a QA intern?
Your primary responsibilities will include validating the operation and functionality of our 3D modeling environment, authoring technical reports, designing and maintaining end-to-end test cases for automated functional regression tests, collaborating with software developers to resolve defects, and participating in planning and design discussions.
Is knowledge of semiconductor fabrication methods required for this internship?
While not required, having knowledge of semiconductor fabrication methods is preferred.
What skills are emphasized for this position?
The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, team-oriented, have excellent interpersonal skills, and possess strong English communication skills (both verbal and written).
Will I collaborate with other teams during the internship?
Yes, you will collaborate closely with software developers and the QA team.
