Responsibilities

  • Work with the tools (FC and PrimeTime) data structures to extract timing related information.
  • Compare exact path in different flow steps and both tools
  • Generate report or plot representation showing discrepancy
  • Generate some statistical results (Percent of error, mean, standard Deviation, etc.)
  • Main goal – Generate 3 applications
  • FC collector – Extract timing information and dump it in a format suitable for analysis
  • PrimeTime collector – Extract timing information and dump it in a format suitable for analysis
  • Analysis – Read information from both tools, compare, analyze and generate a report.
  • Detailed technical documentation of how to work with and support the environment
  • Deliver presentation to technical experts on the work done
  • Stretch goal - Using client-server approach in TCL (inter-interpreter remote execution using sockets for the communication path) to communicate with both tools (clients) to extract information and send to main application (server) for comparison and analysis.
