Requirements

  • Essentials needed for the positions that are similar across the above roles (these do not all have to apply to every single role)
  • Deep knowledge and passion for sports and the culture that surrounds the game
  • Experience with copywriting or social media management preferred
  • Understanding of social trends, memes, viral content and popular culture
  • Ability to work nights and weekends essential
  • Understanding of social platforms (IG, TikTok, TW, FB)
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Understanding of livestream platforms (Twitch, YouTube)
  • Effective presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas
  • Embody high standards and thoughtful design
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Have an open mind, a positive attitude and a strong understanding of social/video/streaming consumption and the current youth culture landscape.
  • Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required)
  • Must be a rising Junior or Senior Undergrad Student (18 years or older)
  • Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above GPA)
  • Warner Bros. Discovery will only consider candidates who are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from Warner Bros. Discovery now or in the future in order to retain their authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Will use and gain experience in layout, design and typography by collaborating and owning work across mobile and web products, social storytelling, video, editorial, branding, streaming and more.
  • Work on a variety of projects and communication channels with different sports that will be some of the most highly visible in sports media.
  • Create and program content across the Bleacher Report app
  • Source content from across the internet to program within the B/R app
  • Execute workflow efficiency plans to improve the app experience
  • Optimize app automation processes for users across multiple sports
  • Work within our content management system to refine app experiences across all sports
