Requirements

  • Candidates MUST be enrolled as a relevant junior, senior or graduate-level student
  • Relevant/applicable majors preferred (Advertising, Radio-Television-Film)
  • Must be available during fall (1/23/24 - 3/29/24)
  • Must be able to work 20 hours a week
  • Must be able to work part-time onsite in person in Austin office
  • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Understand video files and specs, and common editing terms (Aspect ratio, codecs, etc.)
  • Prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
  • Good sense of editing, timing, and what makes a great edit.
  • Strong understanding of Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Media Encoder.
  • Bonus: Understanding of Adobe After Effect

Responsibilities

  • Organizing, assembling, and editing videos
  • Search and download footage from the internet, including video streaming sites (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.) and stock video sites (Getty, Shutterstock, etc.)
  • Handle dub requests (involving re-exporting videos to spec or resizing)
  • Assist Director of In-House Production in delegating responsibilities to freelancers and interns.
  • Bonus: Create and apply animation to video elements, including supers and pre-comps
