Undergraduate students in their junior or senior year with a passion for U.S. government and politics are sought for a Spring 2024 internship. Strong writing and analytical skills along with research experience using qualitative and/or quantitative methods are essential. Candidates must be located in the U.S. for the duration of the internship and must successfully complete a background investigation.

The intern will be responsible for conducting literature reviews, collecting and fact-checking data, tracking current events and the congressional schedule, and providing general research support to the Center for Effective Public Management at The Brookings Institution, focusing on topics such as immigration reform, voting legislation, the 2024 election cycle, and federal government management.

This internship pays an hourly rate of $17.00, and applicants must be willing to commit to a minimum number of hours per week (no less than 24 hours per week, during regular business hours), with some flexibility around an academic course schedule.</li></ul>
