Requirements

  • Seeking as intern in Bachelor Degree program. Preferred year: Junior or Senior (year 3 or 4). Desired degrees/majors include but is not limited to: Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Management/Admin, Operations, Accounting, Marketing.
  • We are looking for someone with interest, background, or experience in Supply Chain, Business Management, Operations, or Finance.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and consolidate requirements with stakeholders to determine appropriate method of purchase such as eSourcing, spot purchase orders, contracts or blanket
  • Create and run eSourcing events
  • Review responses and conduct selection process with stakeholders. Including review of proposals, quotes and negotiate with suppliers to obtain best quality, price and delivery
  • Utilize eProcurement tools to perform spend analytics and conduct eSourcing events
  • Ensure adherence to contractual agreements, purchase orders, regulations and company polices
  • Provide analytical support that drive improvements to reduce costs throughout the supply chain. Become knowledgeable about markets conditions and trends, formulating short and long term strategies to ensure quality and continuity of supply while minimizing total cost
  • Execute all activities associated with Source-to-Pay such that orders are issued and invoiced in a timely manner
  • Communicate effectively with key stakeholders on all levels

  • Intern will be responsible for learning the aspects of Strategic Sourcing within the Indirect Procurement organization
  • This will include gathering requirements with internal client, conducting sourcing events, negotiating commercial and legal terms and conditions
  • Intern will work closely with an assigned Mentor to learn the aspects of various Indirect Procurement categories
