Requirements

  • You must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Internships are open to current students enrolled at a university (those graduating by January 2027 are preferred) and recent graduates who graduated within the 12-month period prior to the start of the internship.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related field.
  • Previous experience in software development - work projects, internships, summer jobs, etc. preferred.
  • Strong academic credentials, solid understanding of software development, and personal responsibility for testing the code you write.
  • Be enthusiastic about learning new technologies and skills.
  • Must be willing to take initiative and follow through to completion.
  • Must be capable of managing your time well and working collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
  • Experience developing front end applications with expertise on Javascript, CSS and other related front end skills.
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with our team of engineers, designers, and project managers to develop product features that will be used by millions of listeners. Examples of previous intern projects:
  • Share on Web
  • Recently Played on Web
  • Debug tool for Web - improved development process for all engineers on the team
  • Improve our codebase using modern technologies such as Typescript, GraphQL, and frameworks such as React/Angular.
  • Help improve and maintain the usability, accessibility, and performance of our web applications.
  • Receive 1on1 mentorship from an experienced software engineer on your team.
