Requirements

Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related program.
Senior standing (going into Senior year) preferred.
Ability to think outside the box and strong desire to learn.
Interest in project work in or near the water.
Desire to learn from other experts as well as from self-study.
CAD skills are a plus.
Strong Microsoft Office skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Desire to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Our interns will assist technical staff on day-to-day projects in their respective disciplines.
Our work consists of a wide variety of projects in and near the water such as levees, dams, locks, mooring structures, canals, hydroelectric power facilities and similar project types.
Depending on interest and experience, work could include:
Hydraulic modeling.
Structural analysis.
Geotechnical engineering.
Field work like dam and levee inspections.
