Requirements

  • Students currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in either civil engineering, environmental engineering, urban planning, structural engineering, or a related field.
  • Completed 1+ year in an accredited engineering degree program.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and leadership skills.
  • Eager to learn, self-motivated, and flexible.
  • Excellent organizational and management skills.
  • Working knowledge of CAD software, such as AutoCAD and MicroStation is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Parsons is looking for Civil Engineering Interns to join our Tempe, Arizona team!
  • In this role you will have opportunity to work directly with our transportation team on large scale engineering projects and gain experience in the fields of Highway/Roadway, Bridge Structures, Transportation Design, Critical Infrastructure, Roadway/Drainage, and more!
  • In addition, by joining us, you will be able to participate in a well-established Summer Internship program at Parsons that includes 170+ interns, you will be able to participate in various professional development and engagement events, have access to the Executive Leadership team, be able to participate in a mentorship program, and more! This internship opportunity will provide the unique experience of gaining real-life work experiences that will help elevate you in your current and future career.
