Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled at an accredited university in a Bachelors/Masters in a Chemical Engineering degree program.
  • Must be able to work full-time (40 hours per week) on-site at our Phoenix location, from May 20th, 2024 – August 2nd, 2024
  • Understanding of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, thermodynamics, Ion Exchange, reverse osmosis, process control systems & instrumentation is required.
  • A team player, good communication skills, and the ability to handle ambiguity is necessary to thrive in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Perform walkdown and validation of systems against drawings.
  • Learn the sequence of operations of facilities systems.
  • Perform validation and startup of facilities systems for a finite scope of work.
  • Develop documentation for ongoing operations and maintenance.
  • You will work around Ultrapure Water Systems, Wastewater Treatment, and other water systems.
  • Other special projects relevant to the section.
