PhD student in CS/Engineering specializing in NLP/LLM, fluent in transformer theory, CUDA/Ubuntu/Python, with experience in LLM training on multi-GPU, strong problem-solving skills, and math competition awards preferred.

The Summer 2024 PhD LLM Engineering intern at Western Digital will be responsible for evaluating, setting up, and fine-tuning LLMs for engineering Q&A using RAG, pre-training with engineering data, and building data preparation workflows while training engineers on LLM theory and parameters.
