Requirements

  • This candidate must be a U.S. citizen (U.S. born or naturalized) who does not hold dual citizenship. You agree to complete a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) for a Moderate Public Trust position with the U.S. federal government and gain other clearances as deemed appropriate for the role.
  • Enrolled and working towards obtaining a BS/MS in Computer Science or related field. Please note that in order to be eligible for an internship, we require that you be returning to school the following quarter/semester to work towards completing your degree
  • Must be attending a College or University in North America
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Linux command line scripting
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Cybersecurity fundamentals

Responsibilities

  • The GovCloud Service Performance, Availability & Resilience Team is responsible for ensuring the overall availability of systems and services within the GovCloud environments, maintaining systems integrity through patching and vulnerability management, and triage and diagnosis of issues during production incidents.
  • As an intern, you can expect to assist with onboarding services to the GovCloud Hyperforce platform. You will also conduct deep dives on the incidents from GovCloud Incident Response that were fixed in real time and do your due diligence to identify long-term solutions.
