The ideal candidate for the Summer 2024 Microelectronics Product Development Co-Op/Intern position at AMD should have a strong background in semiconductor theory and microelectronics fabrication, along with knowledge in yield engineering, statistics, software/scripting (RTL/Verilog, Perl/Python), and computer hardware. Machine learning and SQL query skills are a plus. Candidates should be pursuing an MS or PhD in Microelectronics, Electronics, Computer Science, or Materials Science, and must possess strong organizational, computer, and communication skills, as well as a drive to succeed.

The candidate will assist with validation, characterization, and analysis of advanced microelectronics technology, including test development, Si debug, and yield optimization. They will collaborate on cross-functional teams, resolve design issues, and contribute innovative ideas, while developing technical skills and networking with experienced engineers.
