Requirements

  • Strong understanding of computer architecture
  • Experience with logic design
  • Experience with C++, Verilog, Perl
  • Experience using industry standard tools (VCS, Verdi) and adapt to proprietary tools
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a cross-site team environment
  • Masters degree in computer engineering/Electrical Engineering

Responsibilities

  • Work with Architects and micro-architecture of unit designs and write design specifications
  • Implement complex features in Verilog and factor in all the tradeoffs that are necessary for the design
  • Verify sophisticated design blocks in complex SV/UVM and C++ verification environments
  • Develop and execute pre-silicon verification test plans
  • Develop directed and random verification tests to validate block and IP functionality
  • Debug regression fails
