Requirements

  • Candidate should be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program (Ph.D., M.S., PharmD) in Pharmaceutical Sciences/Pharmacy, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Sciences, Engineering, or Statistics.
  • Candidate would have trainings in generating scientific hypothesis and methods of validating (or rejecting) it, based on data, or be willing to develop such skills.
  • Knowledge in quantitative methods preferred or be willing to develop this skill set during internship. Hands-on experience or formal classes/workshops with one of the modeling tools such as R, SAS, NONMEM, Monolix, Phoenix. NLME, or MATLAB is preferred.
  • Competitive candidates should have excellent oral and written communications skills and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct literature review and collaborate with the Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics Team and Project Team in contributing to clinical pharmacology plan and addressing scientific and technical questions in drug development.
  • Execute part of the clinical pharmacology project plan under the guidance of an experienced clinical pharmacologists. Coordinate with data scientists and biostatistics teams in developing the appropriate analysis datasets, and conduct exploratory analyses as applicable.
  • Present results of clinical pharmacology summary, exploratory analyses, and contribute to the data interpretation.
  • Collaborate with team members outside CPP function when applicable.
