Requirements

Qualifications:
High school degree required.
Pursuing a degree with a concentration in Finance, Accounting, Business or Economics is desirable.
Prior internship experience in accounting, wealth management, or a family office setting a plus
Skills:
Basic Accounting knowledge with a broad understanding of investment assets
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel; ability to use Excel to organize, analyze, present, and report on client information; Word, Access, and PowerPoint a plus
Ability to work well independently and as a part of a team
Ability to multi-task and be able to reassess priorities as situations arise
Highly analytical, detail-oriented with attention to accuracy and meeting deadlines
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to exercise discretion with confidential matters
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely

Responsibilities

Assist in the development of technical material used in client and Private Advisor meetings
Help to gather and analyze client financial information (trust and estate documents, tax returns, balance sheets, etc.)
Begin to understand clients’ investments, assets, liabilities, expenditures
