Requirements

  • Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Well organized, good communication skills and desire to learn
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with large volumes of data
  • Must be able to work at least 40 hours/week during the summer
  • Level of Education Required:
  • Must be a student in a Bachelor’s degree program at an accredited college/university
  • Undergraduate student with a minimum of Rising
  • Preferred Field(s) of Study: Finance, Accounting

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, accounts payable processing and payments and variance commentary on the entity analytical report.
  • Support internal and external financial audits
  • Recording and reconciling cash activities
  • Learn to identify areas where metrics/reports improvements can be utilized
  • Actively participates in system and process improvements, including documenting policies and procedures.
  • Assist in accounting department projects such as record retention, NetSuite, clinical trial accounting, etc.
  • Assist with continuous process improvement and complete other ad-hoc analysis, as needed
  • Other ad-hoc projects, as assigned
