The candidate must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program with at least 30 credit hours complete, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and preferably major in Political Science, Public Policy, Law, Environmental Science, or Business. Strong written and verbal communication skills, problem-solving skills, research skills, attention to detail, data analytics skills, and Microsoft Office experience, particularly with intermediate to advanced Excel skills, are also required.

The summer intern in Government & Legal Affairs at DC Water will gain real-world experience on exciting projects, make connections with recent college graduates and leaders of the company, perform assignments under direct supervision, and assist with other work-related duties as needed.
