The candidate must be pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar, have leadership experience, basic mechanical understanding, knowledge of CAD tools, ability to work in a team and individually, adaptability, effective listening and problem-solving skills, and a desire to learn and contribute to Allegion's business and customers.

The candidate will work with Engineering Leads to design, prototype, and validate product concepts, utilizing tools such as CAD, Creo Mechanism, and force and motion analysis. They will also participate in team meetings, deepen their understanding of mechanical design, and gain experience in prototyping and testing methods. This internship will provide a foundation for future growth and opportunities with Allegion.
