Requirements

  • Internships are open to current students enrolled at a university (those graduating by May 2026 are preferred) and recent graduates who graduated within the 12-month period prior to the start of the internship as well as broadcasting schools with one-year programs that provide certificates of completion.
  • Marketing, advertising, media or communications majors preferred.
  • Strong organizational & project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work with staff at all levels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative mindset for cross-functional teamwork.
  • Detail-oriented with multitasking abilities.
  • Proactive and dedicated to project completion.
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Experience working with WordPress or other CRM platforms is preferred.
  • Preferred experience in creating social media posts (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Experience in creating email newsletters is beneficial.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

  • OEM Marketing:
  • Assisting with OEM Website Audits: Help maintain a tracker of SiriusXM's latest presence on OEM websites, update progress, and keep track of outstanding items.
  • Dealer Marketing:
  • Maintaining Dealer Portal Website: Ensure the dealer portal website remains current by updating banners, tip sheets, videos, etc.
  • SEO Strategy Implementation: Aid in executing SEO strategies on the dealer portal to improve its search engine rankings.
  • Assisting with Newsletter Creation: Lead the planning of the July/August dealer newsletter by gathering company news, programming updates, sweepstakes opportunities, and oversee the development from draft creation, testing, gather team feedback, to final launch
  • Creating Q4 2024 Social Media Calendar: Develop a social media calendar for dealer platforms. This includes writing post copy, creating visuals (graphics or videos), scheduling posts, and pulling reports on organic social media performance.
  • Content Sharing for Audience Engagement: Curate content from SiriusXM's primary social media handles to enhance engagement on dealer social media platforms.
