What is the duration of the summer internship program?
The summer internship program lasts for 7 weeks, starting on 23 June 2025 and ending on 8 August 2025.
What educational qualifications are required for the internship?
Candidates should be currently studying for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in fields such as Petroleum technology, Reservoir and production technology, Petrophysics, Mathematics and Physics, Geology, Geophysics, Computer Science, Data Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Cybernetics and Automation, or Chemical engineering.
Is prior work experience necessary to apply?
No, candidates should have no more than three years of relevant full-time work experience to apply for the internship.
What language proficiency is required for applicants?
Candidates must be fluent in English.
Will Equinor provide relocation support for interns?
No, Equinor does not support any relocation for summer interns.
Do I need a work permit to apply for this internship?
Yes, candidates must have the necessary work permit/visa for the UK, valid at the time of application and for the duration of the internship.
Are there opportunities for learning and development during the internship?
Yes, interns will have access to on-the-job training, learning modules, networking opportunities, and other learning and development activities.
Can I apply for more than one internship position?
Yes, candidates can apply for a maximum of three Summer Internship roles per country.
