Requirements

  • Currently studying for Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a strong academic record within Petroleum technology, Reservoir and production technology, Petrophysics, Mathematics and Physics, Geology, Geophysics, Computer Science, Data Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Cybernetics and Automation, Chemical engineering. Education in other areas such as technology could also be relevant.
  • Fluent in English.
  • No more than three years of relevant full-time work experience.
  • Have completed at least two years of higher education before the internship programme starts (23 June 2025).
  • Have at least one year of higher education left after the internship programme ends (8 August 2025).
  • The interns need to be located in the country where the internship takes place during its entire duration. Equinor does not support any relocation for our summer interns.
  • Please note that Equinor does not support, or sponsor work or visa permits for internship applications. Candidates must have the necessary work permit/visa for the UK. The work permits/visas must be valid at the point of application and for the duration of the internship.
  • Extracurricular activities and/or voluntary work are an advantage.
