Requirements

Accepted degrees: BSc in Geology, Environmental Geoscience, Environmental Science, Geophysics, Chemistry, Environmental Consultancy or similar
Qualifications & Experience:
You will be working towards a degree in a relevant subject
You will demonstrate typical Arcadian skills including Resilience, Creativity, Analytical Thinking and being a Team Player
You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
Willing to travel and stay away from home when required (where possible we embrace virtual working)

Responsibilities

Geo-Environmental - As part of the multi-award-winning site evaluation and restoration team you will undertake site-based ground investigations to determine the nature and quality of ground conditions for purposes including geological / geotechnical assessment, soil contamination and groundwater quality. This data will then be used to either inform design decisions or determine the need for environmental restoration, which would be designed, implemented, and validated in order to bring the site back in to suitable use and protect the environment from harmful impacts. As a graduate, you will work as part of the project teams and undertake site work, including soil & groundwater sampling and site supervision, as well as desk-based research and report writing.
