Requirements

  • University Enrollment: Must be currently enrolled in and returning to an accredited degree-seeking academic program in the Fall.
  • Internship Work Period: Must be available to work full-time (approximately 40 hours per week) during a 10-12 week period starting May or June. Specific start dates are shared during the recruiting process.
  • Skills, Experience, Education, & Training:
  • Current enrollment in a supply chain management, business management, operations management, or related degree-seeking program at the Bachelor’s level
  • Proficiency with Excel; SAP and Tableau experience preferred; demonstrated experience in quickly learning new software tools
  • Demonstrates concern for precision and thoroughness
  • Strong communication/intrapersonal skills and results-oriented

Responsibilities

  • Lead analysis on key packaging cost savings projects. Report out results to key stakeholders with goal of helping the business prioritize resources for cost savings projects:
  • Active projects - (1) ensure data accuracy, (2) understand project timeline and implementation.
  • Candidate projects – (1) analyze part and supplier spend details, (2) collect pricing and volume information and (3) propose potential cost savings.
  • Determine potential opportunities for increasing sterilization load efficiency. Collaborate with cross functional team to propose the benefits and resources required to kick off a project.
  • Support other spend categories as needed with ad hoc supply chain projects
  • Support identified continuous improvement projects within Global Supply Chain as required
