Requirements

  • Analytical, organized, strong interpersonal skills, goal and task oriented
  • Experience with MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Supply Chain Management, Industrial Distribution, Industrial Engineering
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 required
  • Full-time summer hours (up to 40 hrs per week)
  • Must have lodging for the duration of the internship (June 3rd through August 9th)

Responsibilities

  • Create documents that capture Standard Operating Procedures for various groups within supply chain planning.
  • Assist with identifying master data updates needed to drive correct inventory stocking policies.
  • Participate in various collaboration meetings and improvement events.
  • Assist with process mapping, to identify areas of pain and improvement.
  • Work with suppliers to identify lead times and minimum order quantities.
  • Complete ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
