Requirements

  • Genuine interest in the environment, school/college education, and youth career development.
  • Interest in subjects such as sustainability, business, education/teaching, marketing/communications, and humanities.
  • Passion for equality, diversity, inclusion, and community outreach.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to create and deliver teaching resources, including digital formats.
  • Proficiency in processing and interpreting data to streamline workloads.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of confidently engaging with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, build strong relationships, and improve business processes.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Website content development experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Schools & Corporate Citizenship and Sustainability Managers with partnership and project management.
  • Coordinating the education portal by updating content, incorporating trends, and sharing engaging social media stories.
  • Project managing community, school, and college engagement activities and collaborating with key stakeholders. You'll take the lead in managing education-related events, such as local STEM activities in schools.
  • Assisting with sustainability issues for Siemens in the UK, focusing on our journey to Net Zero and other decarbonization topics. This work involves collaboration with various departments.
  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to drive decarbonization through data-driven, innovative projects. Your ideas and input will be highly valued.
  • Working with the Marketing and Communications Manager to maintain education branding, update the website, manage social media presence, and create digital sustainability content.
  • Supporting day-to-day activities, including monthly analysis reporting and team coordination.
  • Contributing to talent management programs, work experience initiatives, and supporting Entry-Level Talent Acquisition projects and communication plans.
  • Opportunities to travel within the UK for conferences, meetings with external partners, and supporting STEM engagement activities.
