Requirements

  • Passion for sustainability and driven towards embedding positive change within the University
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor content to an audience
  • Customer-focused and highly motivated
  • Experience of developing marketing materials
  • Good organisational skills
  • Able to work under own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Desirable:
  • Creative with an eye for detail
  • Familiar with graphic design software (e.g. adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign or similar)
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office, including Excel

Responsibilities

  • Create engaging and informative content for our internal and external websites and help us to improve user experience
  • Produce regular blog posts and newsletter articles on sustainability-related projects and initiatives
  • Design physical and digital marketing assets in line with the University’s brand
  • Support the planning and delivery of online and in-person events including, for example, room bookings, ordering catering and production of promotional materials
  • Manage the Sustainable Campus email inbox (the main point of contact for the Sustainability Team)
  • Assist team members with their work tasks and projects where needed
