Requirements

  • Here’s What You’ll Need:
  • In pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an NAAB accredited program, Interior Design, Architectural Engineering, Engineering, or Sustainability-related degree program.
  • Must be at least a rising Junior
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • US Citizenship required
  • Ideally, you’ll also have:
  • 3.0 GPA
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • LEED experience
  • A previous internship related to your field of study
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management within Jacobs
  • Self-driven time management and organizational skills
  • A portfolio of applicable recent work
  • A Certification or Accreditation related to building performance, sustainability, or resilience such as Certified Commissioning Authority, Certified Energy Manager, WELL AP or in Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design AP

  • You’ll impact the world around you by helping us solve real-life challenges. YOU are the future of our company! We’ll rely on you to provide support to our teams on critical projects while fostering a culture of continuous learning and inclusion as you bring fresh ideas to the table.
  • You’ll be immersed in the integrated design process and the real world of applying sustainable design principles to ongoing projects. You will collaborate and work with various disciplines to document projects for a variety of sustainability third party certifications including LEED and GBCI Guiding Principles, as well as gain exposure to codes and regulations specific to Federal and DOD projects. Alongside senior specialists, you will become familiar with the requirements that drive high performance building design for our clients.
