Requirements

  • Undergraduate students will need to maintain a 2.0 GPA or above throughout the internship.
  • Preferred Areas of Study:
  • Enrolled in an accredited certificate, 2-year or 4-year program during their internship.
  • Enrolled in an academic program in Business administration with focus on Human Resources, Human Resources Management, Sociology, Human Services or related field.
  • You will be successful if you have the following experience, skills, and abilities:
  • Training and experience using Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams.
  • Training or academic experience in matters related to human resources, personnel, or employment law.
  • Training or experience with coordinating or managing small to medium projects.
  • Training or experience with compliance, document retention, confidentiality agreements or related HR policies.
  • Experience initiating outreach and form partnerships to achieve project goals via phone, email or in person.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Are a junior or senior at the start of the internship.

Responsibilities

  • Executing daily and weekly tasks that align to the assigned project.
  • Performing more detail assignments that enable the completion of the assigned project ranging from meeting attendance, maintaining project plans, creating process documents and materials, working with cross functional business units or outside vendors.
  • Achieving task activity levels that align to service level response times, or other due dates or standards of delivery.
  • Completing trainings that align to the function of the role and scope of the project to enable your ability to complete project needs on time.
  • Auditing and reviewing materials for accuracy and submission to project partners.
  • Job shadowing and learning hands on the process for completing steps in the hiring process that are directly related to the project scope.
