The candidate must have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, knowledge of US GAAP and/or Tax principles, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and a desire to learn new software. GPA of 3.0 or higher and the ability to work well in teams are also important.

The Tax Intern at LyondellBasell will assist in preparing various tax returns, book/tax differences, and quarterly reconciliations, while also contributing to special tax projects and conducting research to optimize work products. Additionally, they will gather and analyze data from multiple sources, leverage technology tools, and document the tax team’s processes and data needs.
