Requirements

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
  • Must be a self-starter and be able to operate independent of day to day supervision
  • Ability to demonstrate problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial)
  • Master’s Degree in progress in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Data Science, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business, or related subject.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, strategic thinking and attention to details for everyday tactical execution
  • Excellent people and presentation skills
  • Ability to read and interpret product BOMs
  • Knowledge of manufacturing methods and commodities as related to cost structure
  • Supply chain knowledge, especially for critical commodities as related to sourcing decisions and cost strategies
  • Semiconductor industry or research experience
  • Project Management experience, PMP Certification
  • Familiarity with SAP, Siemens NX
  • Analytics skills in SQL, Python, and Data Visualization Platforms like PowerBI or Tableau

Responsibilities

  • This intern will embed within a program team to learn methods to analyze material cost of new products, and how to effectively manage cross-functional projects. They will additionally support other continuous improvement projects related to NPI, supply chain, materials management, and manufacturing.
  • A successful candidate will be data driven, detail oriented, and enjoy negotiation and collaboration to solve challenging problems. Must have a passion for blazing trails and finding better and faster ways of doing everything you do.
