Requirements

  • Working independently and thought partnering with senior members of the team
  • Data analysis and modelling using MS Excel
  • Working collaboratively with global colleagues
  • Professional communication including strong verbal communication, crisp writing skills for large audiences, and familiarity with structured PowerPoint presentations
  • Organizing and being detail-oriented, able to manage your own agenda and deliverables with discipline, strong sense of ownership and very outcome oriented
  • Engaging with colleagues across the globe with confidence often without oversight
  • You Bring:
  • Must be a current Junior enrolled at an accredited University
  • Must meet the internship program eligibility requirements of the current college/university's academic department and student must be approved by the college/university to participate in the internship program
  • Must be able to work part-time (20 hours/week) throughout the minimum duration of the internship cycle (January-May or June) and be flexible to accommodate meetings in different time zones
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Desire to learn quickly and high level of resourcefulness and initiative
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, for example Microsoft Excel to maintain spreadsheets and perform moderately complex functions
  • Ability and willingness to collaborate with others in a fast-paced environment
  • Preference for someone working on a BS/BA in Business, Finance, Accounting or with strong interest
  • Fluent in English

Responsibilities

  • You will get first-hand experience working on a dynamic, international team in a fast-growing business within BCG. Specific areas that this position will work in will include:
  • Data consolidation, variance analysis and reporting (to help determine if the business is meeting relevant metrics and KPI's)
  • Global and regional communications
  • Strategic initiatives which directly contribute to the success of our business
  • Given the size of the business and the diversity of the initiatives, elements of the position can be customized to suit the interests and goals of the right candidate.
  • You will work 20 hours a week for 6 months alongside team members learning process and procedures, best practices, strategic planning, implementation of innovative tools and applications and efficient knowledge sharing practices on a global scale, while growing your professional network within BCG.
