Responsibilities

  • - In this role, you will train to deliver evidence-based interventions for children and young people in education settings with mild to moderate mental health problems. This will be through 1:1 interventions, parent led interventions, groups, workshops, and assemblies.
  • - You will work in collaboration with other EMHP's / CWP's to deliver groups, workshops assemblies and staff training.
  • - You will work closely with the school/college mental health leads to develop a Whole School and College Approach to mental health and wellbeing within your allocated schools.

You will be supported to build your skills under expert supervision while delivering interventions within education settings.

What are the working hours for this position?

The working hours will include attending the University at scheduled times, working in schools, and conducting private study outside of those hours.

Is there a possibility of permanent employment after training?

Yes, upon successful completion of the EMHP training course, you can apply for a permanent band 5 position within the team.
