Requirements

  • Minimum Requirements:
  • Current student, sophomore status or higher
  • Enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering and/or similar program
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate and build effective relationships
  • Ability to analyze, problem-solve and troubleshoot issues
  • Ability to assess business processes and identify improvements and best path forward
  • Experience with low code automation tools preferred
  • Able to work full-time during the summer
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3.0 GPA (out of a 4.0 scale) or higher
  • Understanding of Finance and/or Accounting concepts

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Engineering staff to support transmission line projects, both capital and ops/maintenance. Work as an entry level engineering analyst doing tasks spanning all aspects of transmission line operations including performance/efficiency, contract and project management, specifying new and replacement equipment, making process improvement recommendations, supporting requests from operations and maintenance. Through practical field experience and mentoring, successful candidate will gain significant professional confidence and people skills.
