Requirements

  • Jr. or Sr. level student in Civil Engineering; 3.0 cumulative GPA is required.
  • Must have an interest in the field of transportation engineering.
  • Previous internship experience in transportation engineering is desired.
  • Ability to compute quantities and verify measurements and layouts under the direction of an engineer.
  • Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail; able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience using Microstation, AutoCad or ArcGIS is desired.
  • Proficient with MS Office for compiling and presenting project data and writing reports.
  • Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

  • We have a summer 2024 internship opportunity in our Chicago, IL Transportation Team. The selected candidate will work as part of a team providing transportation planning and design services to a variety of state and local agencies in Illinois.
