Requirements

  • Basic Qualifications:
  • Must be enrolled as a full-time student in a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree program, or graduated in the past 12 months from an accredited institution. Candidates who have earned a degree may work for a period not to exceed 12 months. Must have a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative grade point average.
  • Additional Required Qualifications:
  • Basic Linux experience
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Python web frameworks (Django, Flask)

Responsibilities

  • Gain understanding of HPC applications and use cases
  • Respond to requests for technical support
  • Contribute to discussion and providing project status updates
  • Contribute to technical documentation
  • Software development in an agile environment
  • The ideal intern will have experience in or willingness to learn:
  • Scripting languages: Unix shell (sh, bash, csh, etc.) and Python, Perl, Ruby, Node.js
  • Command line prompts in a Linux environment
  • Git and GitHub.
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Compiling, building, and running Linux applications
