Responsibilities

  • Uncovering insights, inform design decisions, and forge new opportunities to improve business outcomes through the rigorous study of people and the ecosystems in which they exist.
  • Continuously building team understanding and empathy through empirical observation, experience, and making.
  • Identifying and communicating high priority questions and opportunities for research to lead team towards strategic opportunities and tactical improvements
  • Identifying and communicating appropriate research methodology to address research opportunity
  • Recruiting appropriate participants for research plans and goals
  • Conducting research methods and activities to capture qualitative and quantitative data
  • Analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to generate insights
  • Delivering compelling stories to communicate actionable insights for team and stakeholders
  • Collaborative Development: Work closely with design team members and developers to build, update, and modernize software product user interfaces using agile methodologies.
  • Scenario Design: Design business process scenarios and flows for user interfaces and demonstrations.
  • Feedback Loop: Share work-in-progress designs and actively engage in giving and receiving constructive critique.
  • Business Context: Understand business problems across our customer base to provide context for deliverables.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate with various stakeholders such as design researchers, content designers, developers, product owners, etc., across worldwide teams.
  • Design Thinking Workshops: Plan, lead, and moderate virtual and in-person design thinking workshops.
