Mission & Purpose

Want to grow your career in construction? Thanks for taking a look at Power Construction! Founded in 1926, Power is a management-owned commercial construction company that focuses on the greater Chicago metro area. This local focus helps to ensure that our people are able to be home with family and friends each night. With annual revenue of $1 billion and a professional staff of 270, Power is ranked #1 in Chicago on Crain's Chicago Business List of Largest General Contractors. More importantly, the Chicago Tribune has recognized Power Construction as a Top Workplace for the past five years running. Client types include Healthcare, Hospitality, Developer, Workplace, Education, Industrial, Aviation and Luxury Residential. Within Power Construction, our VIP Group focuses on complex projects under $10 million, our Workplace Group focuses on office TI and renovation assignments, while our Luxury Residence Group specializes in one-of-a-kind condominiums and single-family homes. Our aim is simple...understand the expectations of clients, architects and subcontractors, then work hard to exceed those expectations. Proof of Power's success can be found in the fact that more than 90% of our workload is awarded to the firm from repeat clients. Equally important is the fact that since its founding in 1926, Power Construction has NEVER been in litigation for performance matters with any client, architect or subcontractor.
