Requirements

  • Must be a current Junior, Senior, or Graduate Student studying Electrical/Systems Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering. Grads who have completed their degrees in the past 12-month period will also be considered.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Passion for engineering and delivering high-quality projects.
  • We’re looking for candidates with a passion for public transit or service, and improving mobility for our riders in the Portland metro!

Responsibilities

  • Commission special tools required to maintain the vehicles.
  • Witness vehicle tests and review test reports.
  • Track issues and metrics associated with vehicle reliability demonstration.
  • Support inspections for closure of open items and field modifications.
  • Validate construction safety certifiable items.
