Requirements

  • Proficient in Python or LabVIEW
  • Experience with Hardware Interfaces (e.g I2C, SPI, CAN, RS232, Ethernet)
  • Familiarity with 3D CAD software (Solid Works or CATIA Preferred)
  • Strong lab equipment experience (e.g Power Supply, Oscilloscope, eLoads)

Responsibilities

  • In this dynamic role, you will get the opportunity to conduct hands-on component and system-level tests in accordance with the Design Validation Plan (DVP), meticulously following test leg diagrams and component requirements. You will craft comprehensive test plans and procedures to guide the validation tests and develop test scripts for efficient component testing automation.
  • Utilizing lab equipment like Power Supplies, Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, and AC Amplifiers, you will also create test setups to examine the Device Under Test (DUT). Additionally, you'll collaborate on the design of system test fixtures and develop instrumentation maps to collect crucial data.
  • Your responsibilities will extend to procuring necessary test equipment, analyzing test results, and compiling detailed test reports - all while working closely with cross-functional teams, in-house and external resources. As a crucial part of our Vehicle Integration organization, you will ensure the smooth execution of the test plans, execute mechanical and environmental tests, and perform root cause analyses when we encounter failures.
