Requirements

  • Master student in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent
  • Proficient in one of the following: C, C++, Python, Experience with FFMPEG is a plus
  • Familiar with video codecs such as H.264, HEVC, and their encoder implementations
  • Knowledge of video streaming system, adaptive streaming, content-aware encoding, video quality assessment preferred
  • Great communication, eager to learn, and always passionate about turning cutting-edge technologies into real life use cases.

Responsibilities

  • Design content-aware/context-aware video encoding algorithms to reduce bandwidth cost and optimize end-to-end user experience
  • Perform simulation and analyze data to build transcode solutions to jointly optimize processing/compression
  • Design coding strategies for various applications and scenarios, including VOD/Live/VR streaming
