Requirements

  • High School Diploma with progress towards Associate / Bachelor’s Degree in Film, Media, Videography, Photography, or associated fields.
  • Strong interest in employing artistic expression to deliver business change.
  • Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills.
  • Proficient in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
  • Solid understanding of audio editing and synchronization techniques.
  • Knowledge of graphics and visual effects software, particularly Adobe After Effects.
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual and audio quality.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage project files efficiently.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Generate brand awareness and product interest through the creative use of images and videos.
  • Review and edit raw video footage to create compelling, visually appealing content.
  • Select the best shots, trim unnecessary segments, and arrange clips for a coherent narrative flow.
  • Apply transitions, effects, and color correction to enhance the overall visual quality.
  • Clean and optimize audio tracks, remove background noise, and ensure audio clarity; synchronize audio with video to achieve seamless playback.
  • Incorporate graphics, text overlays, titles, and visual effects to enhance the video's impact.
  • Proficiency in software such as Adobe After Effects for creating dynamic visual elements.
  • Conduct thorough quality checks to identify and rectify any issues such as glitches, artifacts, or audio sync problems.
  • Ensure that the final video product meets and exceeds quality standards.
