Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program.
  • Must have successfully completed the Human Resources Internship program or be part of a research internship.

Responsibilities

  • - Directing clients through athletic and/or fitness performance workout sessions
  • - Assisting with physical performance and/or Sanford SCORE evaluations
  • - Assisting with large groups, camps, small group, and/or individual training sessions
  • - Designing client-specific programs (athletic and/or fitness)
  • - Equipment maintenance and cleaning
  • - Reviewing literature
  • - Any other duties assigned by the Sanford Sports Performance staff
  • - Presenting, at a staff meeting, on a topic of choice (exercise, nutritional, rehab, or speed strength related)
  • - Contributing to Sanford operations and processes while obtaining firsthand experiences that align with the mission, vision, and values of the organization
  • - Working collaboratively with organization leadership, enhancing knowledge and skills and improving the delivery of quality healthcare
  • - Assisting in the completion of projects and administrative duties while developing skills related to the assigned function and/or location
  • - Attending training and development opportunities, learning about various processes and functions within the organization
