  • This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.

Responsibilities

  • As part of a multidisciplinary team the post holder will carry out housekeeping duties to facilitate the day to day organisation of the Neonatal Unit.
  • In addition to general housekeeping duties, the post holder will have a responsibility for the cleaning of equipment, the maintenance of linen, laundry and the parents’ accommodation and the provision of supplies within the clinical area.
  • The post holder will undertake any associated clerical and patient centred duties as delegated by the registered nurse/midwife.
