Responsibilities

  • Develop and utilise new skills while working side-by-side with our business leaders, learning on the job and working on transactions from day one
  • Develop your technical skills and business knowledge, as well participate in internal and external training with the opportunity to build your network
  • Be encouraged to give back through the Graduate Volunteer Network and the Macquarie Group Foundation which provides support to hundreds of community organisations each year through financial support, volunteering and skills sharing

Our shift to hybrid working is an extension of our long-standing commitment to flexible working. We are a people business. We build relationships and learn from each other.   • Leave to support your lifestyle and wellbeing

    We offer a range of leave options to help our people manage their work and life priorities. Employees receive one wellbeing leave day per year as well as other leave options including compassionate and bereavement leave, carer's or personal leave and volunteer leave. Eligible employees can also purchase up to 20 days’ additional annual leave and take up to three months' unpaid leave.

  • Take care of your family

    Your family is important to you, so they are important to us too. We support parents in many ways including through our parental leave policy. Primary carers are eligible for 20 weeks’ leave at full pay. There is no minimum tenure requirement meaning all employees are eligible for parental leave upon starting work at Macquarie. To help parents transition to life as a working parent, we also offer 12 paid transition days upon your return. That means new parents can return to work four days and get paid for five days per week for 12 weeks; or return three days and get paid for five days per week for six weeks. Co-parents can access up to six weeks paid leave at the time of birth, adoption or custody. Other support services are also available including parents' rooms and access to a range of resources.

Some fitness benefits include discounted rates at a range of health clubs and gyms, onsite fitness classes - from running clubs and cycling teams to yoga classes. Alongside access to bike racks and regular bike servicing as well as change rooms, lockers and showers. Other health and wellness benefits include access to an Employee Assistance Program, corporate rates for risk and medical insurance, various onsite health screening checks and flu vaccinations.
