Responsibilities

  • The Account Executive – Ticket Sales is responsible for selling new ticket packages, plans, and single game tickets and retaining a portion of season ticket accounts that they personally sell. This position will also be responsible for generating ticket sales by bringing in new accounts and maintaining a relationship with these accounts in order to retain them annually. Additional responsibilities include provide ongoing communication via telephone, e-mail, mail and ticket system technology driven platforms including CRM (Customer Relationship Management), generate new business through calling prospects assigned through the lead model, lapsed Ticket Holders, and accumulated leads from past seasons, and promote sale of new and renewal season tickets.
  • Maintain contact with all assigned ticket accounts to provide superior service with focus of retaining accounts from year-to-year
  • Build revenue through sales of all ticket offerings for individuals, businesses, organizations, and others
  • Build relationships with accounts through organized outreach, meet and greet sessions, seat visits, and video and call campaigns
  • Follow up on all sales leads to sell new ticket accounts. Assign seat locations for all ticket accounts. Secure and process all payments of all ticket accounts
  • Maintain accurate customer and prospect records in the CRM, including call logs, account status, follow-up actions, and complaints, while properly coding all ticket sales
  • Actively participate in weekly sales and strategy meetings, contributing creative ideas and feedback on past performance and next steps for managing the prospect pipeline
  • Research, develop, and maintain a portfolio of ticket accounts as assigned. Identify new market segments and market opportunities to pursue for growth of ticket sales
  • Implement strategic ticket sales strategies in support of individual, departmental, and organizational goals including but not limited to budgeted revenue goals and sellout objectives
  • Provide ideas on new sales and retention initiatives for each sales campaign
  • Actively participate in strategic planning meetings with peers, across all departments, to ensure the flawless planning and execution of the team’s home game games and all other events
  • Provide game day assistance with escorting participants from ticket accounts to the field for their specific activity. Assist at various sales related events throughout the year
  • Responsible for the satisfaction and retention of sales accounts by providing exceptional customer service and client satisfaction
  • Proactively generate and develop new business through outbound calls, meetings, and other communication methods—including prospecting, appointment setting, face-to-face meetings, canvassing, and cold calling—to meet and exceed individual and team sales goals
  • Assist with field tarp duties as necessary
